“Custom element doesn’t exist: chartdeck-card”

The resource did not load. Check Settings → Dashboards → Resources lists chartdeck-card.js as a JavaScript module, then hard-refresh the browser (Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + R). On the companion app, clear its frontend cache.

The card looks like an older version

The browser is using a cached copy. Hard-refresh, and check the version in the browser console (F12) — it prints CHARTDECK x.y.z on load.

A value is wrong or the bar is empty

Check the entity’s state in Developer tools → States. Chartdeck needs a number; a state of unavailable or unknown is shown as such rather than as zero.

Open an issue with the card’s YAML, the entity’s state, a screenshot, and anything red in the browser console.
