Installation

With HACS

Until Chartdeck is in the HACS default list, add it as a custom repository:

1. Open HACS, choose ⋮ → Custom repositories.
2. Repository: https://github.com/tempus2016/chartdeck, type: Dashboard.
3. Search for Chartdeck, choose Download.
4. Reload your browser (Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + R).

HACS adds the dashboard resource for you.

By hand

1. Download chartdeck-card.js from the latest release.
2. Copy it to <config>/www/.
3. Settings → Dashboards → ⋮ → Resources → Add resource: URL /local/chartdeck-card.js, type JavaScript module.
4. Reload your browser.

Requirements

Home Assistant 2025.1 or newer.

Updating

Update through HACS, then hard-refresh the browser so the new version loads instead of a cached one. The version that loaded is printed in the browser console (F12) as CHARTDECK x.y.z.
