Half circle with needle

A 180° scale coloured by the bands, with tick marks and a tapered needle that shows the value. Because the bands are drawn on the scale itself, this is the style that shows your colour bands best. A small triangle marks the target. The needle swings into place with a little overshoot.

To use this style, set style: needle (or pick Needle in the editor’s Style section).

Options that matter here

• severity draws the coloured scale; there is no separate arc fill.
• min and max set the two ends of the scale.
• target draws a triangle marker on the scale.
• columns sets how many gauges sit in a row; by default as many as fit the card’s width.
